專業概況

在這里學什么？ If you don’t have the right grades to enrol directly on to our BSc (Hons) Chemistry degree, you could opt to start your studies with a foundation year. The extra year is intended to give you the best possible preparation for success on the Chemistry degree. You’ll study introductory modules relevant to the degree whilst developing key skills for academic study.Within this Chemistry degree, we place an emphasis on analytical chemistry and modern aspects of chemical science, to develop your ability to apply the principles of chemistry to your career pathway.Accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry, our Chemistry courses provide a depth of practical experience that employers find highly attractive. Possible careers include industrial chemist, pharmaceutical scientist, forensic scientist, biochemist, cosmetic scientist, environmental scientist, medicinal chemist, metallurgist, teaching and lecturing, research and/or development scientist, public analyst, health and safety adviser.Our chemistry facilities are on a par with those found in industry. Students make full use of the laboratories during their studies and gain hands-on experience using the extensive chemical equipment.Our Chemistry courses are based at our Glyntaff campus. USW Glyntaff is surrounded by green open spaces. Our students say they love the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views.
