在這里學(xué)什么？ Religion and Theology is a lively and contemporary subject which deals with some of the most important issues of our time. Our society is multi-cultural and multi-religious, and this provides opportunities and challenges. It is essential that people are better informed about the subject, in the interests of mutual respect and understanding. As a student of Religion and Theology, you may come from any faith or none. You will be open-minded, questioning and interested in what motivates people to live and believe within a religious tradition. You will want to study in a learning culture of respect and tolerance for people and their religious beliefs and practices. The Religion and Theology award introduces the essential elements of the major world religions, and enables you to reflect upon the theological, ethical and philosophical issues that arise in them. Modules on this course will give you opportunity to explore the relationship between religion and often controversial issues in modern life.
