Our 30-credit master degree program blends the presentation of theory with hands-on practice. This equips our students with a solid foundation of skills, and more importantly, the ability to adapt to the constantly evolving landscape of the computing discipline. Our graduates are not only productive in their new jobs, but quickly rise to leadership positions.

A key aspect of our M.S. degree, as it can prepare you to enter the computer industry directly after graduation, or to continue your educational path to a Ph.D. A variety of electives allow you to customize your experience to suit your interests.

You are encouraged to explore one of many focus areas currently in demand including: mobile applications, software development, big data, cyber forensics, wireless networking, system administration and more.

Program Outcomes

1. Develop a large software project, one that is well designed, complete, functions properly, and is presented appropriately.

2. Understand one aspect of modern computer systems in greater depth: networks, operating systems, parallel architectures or databases.

3. Student has mastered the methods and algorithms of one area of computer theory work independently.

4. Explain the current developments and concerns related to at least two subareas of computer Science.

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or from a foreign institution that is recognized by its jurisdictional Ministry of Education for granting baccalaureate degrees. Generally, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (where A is 4.0), based on all undergraduate courses taken at an accredited college or university, is expected though consideration will be given to prior graduate study and to supplementary professional experience. English Language Requirements: The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination with a minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based test (IBT), The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum score of 6.5 is also acceptable. The Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum score of 53 is acceptable.
