專業概況

在這里學什么？

Students pursuing a Master of Science in bioengineering at CU Denver will gain advanced training in bioengineering working with top researchers in the field. Students have a choice of training pathways in basic research, clinical applications or commercialization of medical technologies and will find themselves prepared for bioengineering careers in industry, government or academia.

Our Master of Science program is designed to be completed in 18 to 24 months. Academic instruction in the graduate program focuses on developing core competencies in life sciences, quantitative methods, technology and research methods.

Curriculum

The Master of Science in bioengineering requires 30 credit hours of coursework, including 3 to 6 credit hours of a master’s project or thesis:

3 credit hours of life sciences core

3 credit hours of quantitative methods core

6-9 credit hours of technology core

3 credit hours of research and clinical core

6-9 credit hours of electives

3-6 research core, including master’s project or thesis.

為來自中國的學生設計 The applicant has earned a bachelor’s degree in the US or has successfully completed a minimum of 2 semesters (a minimum of 12 credits) of full-time study in a graduate-level master’s program at an accredited institution in the US and obtained a “B” (3.00) cumulative GPA or higher. The applicant obtains a composite score of 75 or above on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL, iBT) (minimum subscores of 15 in Reading, 15 in Listening, 19 in Speaking, and 20 in Writing) or a composite score of 6.5 or above on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (minimum subscores of 5.5 in each area).
