專業(yè)概況

在這里學(xué)什么？ This is a joint honours course, where you will study two subjects. Criminology analyses the nature, occurrence and explanations of crime, criminal behaviour and societal responses to these phenomena. On this course you will tackle some of the most fundamental questions behind what makes an act or action a crime and how responses to crime can be analysed from different perspectives and theoretical frameworks. You will also look at historical patterns of crime, how perspectives of crime have changed over time, and explore contemporary criminal justice and policy to crime, anti-social behaviour and disorder. Oxford Brookes has one of the best and most innovative English departments in the country. You will be taught by staff whose publications contribute to the development of English Literature. Oxford Brookes is recognised for its excellent teaching on this programme and in the National Student Survey 2016, 95% of our students reported that staff are good at explaining things (Source: Unistats).

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
