Our postgraduate coursework program is one of Australia's largest, with more than 120 units of study offered each year. We offer postgraduate study in a number of specialist areas as well as specialised units of study, with units taught by our own experts as well as by international visitors.

Graduate opportunities
Graduates of the LLM will:
Possess an excellent and up-to-date knowledge of the law; the skills to understand and contribute to changes in professional practice or scholarship; and an ability to apply their knowledge and skills to new situations.
Possess knowledge of research principles and methods applicable to the law, and the ability to undertake substantial research-based projects.
Possess cognitive skills such as critical judgement and critical thinking in the learning and application of law to policy, practice and academic pursuits. Possess cognitive, technical and creative skills to recognise, define, analyse, and solve complex legal problems, and to generate and evaluate complex ideas at an abstract level.
Use exceptional written and oral communication skills to communicate objective or persuasive conclusions to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Possess the skills to understand and contribute to changes in professional practice or scholarship, and demonstrate an ability to apply their knowledge and skills to new situations.
Demonstrate a high level of personal autonomy and accountability.
Future study options
Sydney Law School is a major international centre for legal research. The faculty has internationally renowned academic staff members whose expertise range across a wide variety of fields. Sydney Law School offers three higher degrees by research: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Laws by research (LLM) and Master of Criminology by research (MCrim).

為來自中國的學生設計 Applicants need to have one of the following: a bachelor’s degree with first or second-class honours from the University of Sydney or another approved institution; an equivalent qualification that demonstrates sufficient research experience and capability. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing; IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band; TOEFL - PBT score: A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing.課程信息
