專業概況

在這里學什么？ If you’re passionate about film – how it’s made, its meanings and its pleasures – this Film Studies degree will allow you to engage critically and theoretically with the art form. You will consider film and related media against their historical, cultural and technological backdrops. This will give you a broad perspective of the history and experience of film and cinema in global media culture, from Hollywood and French cinema to avant-garde or cult cinema.This is mainly a theory-based film studies course, but you’ll have practical opportunities in scriptwriting. This hands-on experience will help you better understand the relationship between theory and practice. If you are interested in a practical film degree take a look at our BA (Hons) Film course.
