專業(yè)概況

在這里學(xué)什么？ Information Technology for Business Top Up year is for students with a higher diploma in a business and IT subject awarded in UK or in an International institution that aim to obtain a BSc (Hons) degree. It looks at the vital role of computing in a Business environment. As such it combines specialist Computing modules with specialist Business modules. To be an effective practitioner in this area requires the ability to stay up to date with rapidly changing technologies and the competence to apply these technologies effectively in a business context. Graduates from the programme will have a good mix of technical, business and project-based skills to play key roles in the application of computing technology to tomorrow’s businesses. The development of strong technical skills is supported by an understanding of business and commerce, and the way in which contemporary businesses rely on the continual evolution of technology-based innovation. The design of our programmes is also informed by state-of-the-art research being undertaken in the School. Students on our programmes have access to highly specialised computer laboratories where they learn the practical application of cutting-edge theoretical skills and techniques. The course aims to provide students with a balanced set of knowledge and skills, encompassing business and computing, but emphasizing the personal, inter-personal and project skills necessary to make these skills applicable to the modern workplace.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
