專業概況

在這里學什么？ This Foundation Year in Mathematics will give you the skills and knowledge required to progress onto our BSc Mathematics course. This course will start with a thorough revision of GCSE and A-level Mathematics and will continue with an introduction to university mathematics. Furthermore, you will learn transferable skills that are key for undergraduate studies in Mathematics such as coding or data analysis. These skills are in high demand by employers in exponentially growing sectors.During this 1 year course, you will study an introduction to;data analysiscomputer programming, or codinglinear algebra and calculus probability and statistics, with applications to the real worldand university level mathematics.You will learn how to use software to solve mathematical problems and find solutions. Your problem solving skills will be enhanced and you'll gain analytical skills that will be pivotal to progressing onto further study.

為來自中國的學生設計 Qualifications equivalent to UK A-levels: Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate PLUS a recognition foundation course. Senior Secondary School Graduation Certificate plus Gaokao (National College Entrance Examination/National College Entrance Examination/NCEE). IELTS 6.0-7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking. One year of university in China achieving at least 75% overall.
