At Robert Gordon University, the MSc Petroleum Production Engineering degree will enhance your employability by moving your career forward in the field of production engineering and production technology.

The course has been developed and is supported by experienced industry professionals. It combines academic study with talks from energy experts, industrial visits and practical training in the use of petroleum engineering software applications. This course fulfils the demand from employers for graduates with industry relevant, problem-solving and practical skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace.

This course is accredited by the Energy Institute on behalf of the Engineering Council and meets the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students need to have of the following qualifications: a four-year Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised "211" or "985" university with an overall average of 65% (4 point scale 64-67% = C- and 5 point scale 60-74% = C). 70% is required from all other recognised universities in China. Students who hold a three-year college Diploma from a recognised institution will need to successfully complete a pre-masters programme in China or the UK to be considered for entry. A small number of University postgraduate programmes do require a minimum of second class upper classification, or an equivalent. Applicants with lower qualification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis. Students need to have an IELTS overall of 6.5 includes 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening.
