中加楓華國際學校高中部很榮幸能在此向各位家長、同學、老師們介紹將于2020年7月1日正式上任的新BC高中部領導團隊。

Sino Canada High School is pleased to introduce the administrative team who will undertake the leadership roles for the school as of July 1st, 2020.

考慮到平穩交接過度的需要，新領導團隊已從4月起逐步開始參與學校日常**。

Knowing that a smooth transition is important, we invited the new admin team on board in April.

由校長Graham Setters先生、副校長Adam Stevens先生、Sinduja Pathmarajan女士、Tesfayesus Tesfamarian先生以及督導George Watson先生組成的現有團隊正與新團隊持續進行密切合作。現任和新任的管理層都致力于在確保學生、家長和**人員在新一年順利過渡的同時也滿足個人和團體的各類需要。

Our new admin team is working with the current team, which consists of principal, Mr. Graham Setters, vice principals Mr. Adam Stevens, Ms. Sinduja Pathmarajan, and Mr. Tesfayesus Tesfamarian, as well as the current Superintendent, Mr. George Watson. Both the current and new administrators want to ensure that the transition to the new year is smooth for the students, parents and staff, and that individual and group needs are being met.

The transition team is reviewing all aspects of school, ensuring that social, emotional and intellectual goals are met and that plans are being implemented and developed. This strategy has been working well as the unexpected challenges of the current year have added another level of complexity to the transition.

BETTY BOULT博士

顧問/前督導

CONSULTANT/FORMER SUPERINTENDENT

Boult博士目前擔任不列顛哥倫比亞省的審計官。2008年至2016年間，她曾在蘇州楓華學校高中部擔任離岸學校代表(OSR)8年。博爾特博士熟知BC省教育部的各類要求。她很高興能回到蘇州楓華學校高中部，因為她對這所學校非常自豪。

在擔任蘇州楓華學校高中部OSR之前，貝蒂曾任科奎特蘭學區助理督導、阿伯茨福德助理督導、阿伯茨福德課程主任、帕克蘭郡員工發展主任等職。

她也是暢銷書《與父母共事的201種方式》(3版，科爾溫出版社)的作者。貝蒂擁有新南威爾士東南大學教育學博士學位、艾伯塔大學教育學碩士學位和教育學學士學位。

Dr. Boult is currently working as a Lead Auditor for the Province of British Columbia. She worked as the Offshore School Representative (OSR) for Sino Canada High School for 8 years between 2008-2016. Dr. Boult is very familiar with the requirements of the BC Ministry of Education, and she is excited to return to Sino Canada as she has a great deal of pride in the school.

Before acting as OSR of Sino Canada School, Betty was an Assistant Superintendent for the Coquitlam School District, Assistant Superintendent of Abbotsford, Director of Curriculum for Abbotsford, Director of Staff Development in the County of Parkland.

She is the author of the best-selling book, “201 ways to work with parents” (3 editions, Corwin Press). Betty has her Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University, her Masters of Education and her Bachelors of Education from the University of Alberta.

KEVIN HARRISON

PRINCIPAL 校長

Harrison先生畢業于加拿大不列顛哥倫比亞省不列顛哥倫比亞大學，并在美國南加州圣迭戈大學完成了碩士課程。

Mr. Harrison has been an educator for more than 35 years and over his career won several awards for his innovative programs. He won three of Canada's most prestigious awards given out to educators: Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence, the Hilroy National Award for Outstanding Merit in Educational Innovation, and, lastly for his innovative use of technology in the classroom, the Marshall McLuhan Distinguished Teacher Award.

Many of Kevin’s programs and interventions have been replicated and used successfully in other schools. In 2013, Kevin was one of 40 educators selected worldwide to present at the International Conference of Principals in Cairns, Australia. From 2016-2018, Mr. Harrison was an International School Principal in Shanghai, China.

He is excited about the opportunity to work with the outstanding staff, parent and student community at Sino Canada International School.

Mr. Harrison graduated from the University of British Columbia in British Columbia Canada, and completed his Master’s Program at the University of San Diego in Southern California USA.

The new vice principals are Craig Cowan and Brian Yin. They bring common attributes of passion for education, Sino Canada experience, respect of colleagues, a commitment to their students, and a willingness to accept the challenges related to change.

自2013年以來，Cowan先生就一直是蘇州楓華學校高中部穩定與素質教育的支柱。他長期任教傳播、英語、戲劇、社會研究、攝影11和12等課程。

Cowan先生具有教育領域以外的有趣背景，他是一名專業攝影師，曾為*括馬友友(YoYo Ma)和唐納德·特朗普(Donald Trump)在內的諸多名人服務。在加拿大，他還曾作為一名金融專業人士，在經濟周期轉變期間帶領團隊完成遷移、數字化轉型和持續的規模調整。在音樂行業，他管理和培養了新的人才，并在多倫多和紐約達成了交易。不僅如此，Cowan先生在廣告，音樂和房地產方面也具有一定的專業經驗。

Cowan先生擁有多倫多大學的教育學士學位和多倫多大學的榮譽文學士學位。他喜歡在中國生活，并計劃在這里待更多年。

Mr. Cowan has been a constant pillar of stability and quality education at Sino Canada High School since 2013. He has been teaching Communications, English, Drama, Social Studies, Photography 11 and 12.

Mr. Cowan has an interesting background outside the education field. As a professional photographer, he photographed and worked for many high-profile events and personalities, including Yo Yo Ma and Donald Trump! As a finance professional, Mr. Cowan worked at Wells Fargo Financial Services in Canada, leading a team through relocation, digital transformation, and ongoing rightsizing during an economy cycle shift. Within the music industry, he managed and developed new talent and negotiated deals in Toronto and New York. In addition, Mr. Cowan has had professional experience in advertising, music, and real estate.

Mr. Cowan has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and an Honors Bachelor of Arts with high distinction from the University of Toronto. He loves living in China and plans on spending many more years here.

BRIAN YIN

副校長

VICE PRINCIPALS

殷先生2006年畢業于中加楓華國際學校。他認為回到楓華來任教是他做過比較好的決定之一。

作為一名訓練有素的會計師，但他卻心向教育，并為此放棄了在紐約市四大會計師的**。他多才多藝，會說兩種語言，更熱衷于與學生分享他在國外學習和**的十年經驗。殷先生于2018年回到母校中加任教，曾教過數學10、前微積分11& 12、微積分12和統計學12等科目。

Brain擁有布法羅大學的會計學士和碩士學位。他在溫哥華島大學完成了學士后教育課程。他的家鄉是中國上海。

Mr. Yin graduated from Sino Canada High School in 2006. He considers returning to Sino to teach one of the best decisions that he has ever made.

A trained accountant but a teacher by heart, Mr. Yin quit his promising career as a Big Four accountant in New York City to pursue education. Versatile, bilingual and enthusiastic about sharing his decade long experience of studying and working abroad with students, Mr. Yin returned to his alma mater, Sino Canada, as a teacher in 2018. He has taught Math 10, Pre-Calculus 11&12, Calculus 12 and Statistics 12.

Brian has a Bachelor and Master of Accounting from the University of Buffalo. He completed his Post-Bach Education program from Vancouver Island University. His hometown is Shanghai, China.
